Dr. Richard McFadden
Dr. Richard McFadden grew up in Windsor, Ontario. He was always active in sports, including baseball, basketball, bowling, track and field, but especially football. After high school he attended McMaster University receiving his Bachelor of Science Kinesiology Honours degree in 2011. During his university career, he played offensive line for the McMaster marauders football team.
His education brought him to Toronto when he attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he completed his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2015. During his chiropractic education he also attended the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy earning his massage diploma and a McMaster program in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture.
Dr. Richard had a very exciting fourth year of chiropractic college. He performed his own research involving forces used when manipulating the mid-back. He was published and presented this research to the chiropractic profession in Las Vegas.
Dr. Richard was also very fortunate to be chosen to attend a chiropractic outreach with fellow fourth year interns in the Dominican Republic where they treated over 1100 people.
As soon as Dr. Richard's education was completed, he moved to St. Catharines and started working in Niagara Falls. He has been treating the Niagara Falls community for the past two years and has really enjoyed the area. Dr. Richard made many contacts while working and was able to open McFadden Chiropractic and Massage Niagara.
During the two years, Dr. Richard tried to find his own style of treatment for his patients. With a multi-modal background including chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage therapy, he is able to provide an encompassing approach to health care. Each chiropractic visit involves many different aspects of care, including soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, and manual manipulation. Dr. Richard prides himself in being very hands-on with his care. He is also able to use his knowledge to develop appropriate massage therapy treatment plans.
Dr. Richard has worked with many different populations. He has worked with sports teams and the general population varying in age. He has treated as young as eight years old and as old as 92. He really enjoys working with the general population because their goals of treatment are to pick up and play with their children or get back to work and provide for their family. He really likes seeing his patients reach those goals.
Dr. Richard is still exploring the Niagara region. You may see him running the Niagara parkway or hiking down at the gorge. He is also the offensive line coach and team Chiropractor for the Niagara Regional Raiders football team.
In just one year at McFadden Chiropractic and Massage Niagara, Dr. Richard was nominated as one of the top three chiropractors in Niagara Falls for 2018. https://threebestrated.ca/chiropractors-in-niagara-falls-on
